‘In The Other Room’ by ExWives Is Upbeat, Poppy Punk Music

7 9 18 ExWives‘In The Other Room’ by ExWives is upbeat, poppy punk music with a warm, fuzzy soul. The band says, “this song was written about singer Chase Kerby’s favorite local Oklahoma City bar, the Other Room.” These guys definitely have a good handle on keeping things nice and simple. They know that a clear message or aesthetic is more easily derived from straightforward music. There’s kind of a lo-fi vibe going on here, but it seems to apply more to the vocals than anything else. This isn’t quite pop punk, but there’s certainly a strong pop sensibility here. Check out ‘In The Other Room’ below!
