These two religious experiences are related in that they both “make [him] a better man.” In a world where we do so much in attempts for self-improvement, this song resonates, reminding us that improvement can come from anywhere, including religion and relationships. The classic hip hop beat escalates the pure poetry of the lyrics, creating an overall beautiful effect.
