Hey Geronimo, from Australia, are back with their fierce techie-themed-song titled “Working For Google.” From the sound of the song, the band seems to draw influences from early punk bands like The Clash and The Buzzcocks but also adds a flavor of modern pop music to spin things up a little bit. Hey Geronimo clearly has an ear for a proper hook as the vocal melody and synth riff are both equally contagious and seem to call and answer each other. There are strong build ups throughout the song which makes the chorus pop out even more. The song is made complete with heavy drums and guitars and a well sung vocal that bleeds attitude.
