Canning's 'The Fold' Is Rowdy, Fast Hard Rock

Canning’s ‘The Fold’ is rowdy, fast hard rock. “Driving, taking a deep breath as you race a steaming locomotive directly to the right of you,” is how the band describes this song. “Do you stop,” they ask, “or do you make that hard right at the crossing in order to get to the other side?” These guys bring a lo-fi blues sensibility to a classic rock ethos. They do a masterful job of fusing groove with a heavy punch. Behind all of that, there’s clearly real consideration that went into the composition and production of this piece.
