“I guess it makes sense that ‘Sleepyhead’ started to take shape in my bedroom,” shares Moreau.“I was in my bed, doing a lot of thinking. I fell into that sort of game you play with your mind where you get wrapped up in your thoughts and worries and emotions. I started to think about how everyone fights with their own minds, repeating the same toxic ways of thinking over and over. I really wanted to capture the idea that your mind can seem like this crazy, scary thing that you can’t control, but in reality, it can be controlled.”
